SUMMARY: This position is responsible for leading and managing a team of client service associates responsible for the day to day transaction processing as they pertain to the administration of Employee Stock Options and Stock Purchase plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the position include the following: • Ensures that the appropriate processes and procedures are developed for the team and that the controls in place are periodically reviewed to ensure they mitigate risk to the business. • Responsible for the service agreements for the team’s book of business as it relates to current agreements and ensures that there is one on file for each client. • Ensures that the invoicing process is taking place and that there are no aged receivables beyond forty-five days. • Acts as relationship manager for those plans where a RM is not assigned. • Frequently interfaces with all the clients for the team’s book of business and ensuring clients are satisfied within the delivery of service and are referenceable. • Works very closely with the Group manager on projects that support the overall business.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises a team of Client Service Associates in the Computershare Plan Managers Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Office Applications, Internet, E-Mail and database software knowledge. Stock transfer system knowledge is recommended
